1. During the production process of components, metal debris and dust inevitably adhere to their surfaces. Therefore, before performing vacuum operations, it is essential to clean the surfaces of the components to ensure that the environment reaches the required conditions as quickly as possible.
2. Under the influence of temperature and pressure, all substances can change between solid, liquid, and gas states through condensation and evaporation. Therefore, the aggregation state of substances has a significant impact on the vacuum environment.
3. Gases adsorbed on the surfaces of components will desorb in a vacuum environment and then escape into the vacuum, affecting the vacuum system. Additionally, the vacuum system is usually connected by different sealing components, and due to variations in sealing quality, the overall leakage rate significantly impacts the vacuum environment.
4. To achieve a high-quality vacuum environment, during operations, baking methods can be used to increase the desorption and diffusion of gases, allowing the equipment to extract more gases that escape from the metal.
5. Due to the slow desorption process, to prevent condensate vapors (such as water vapor and other condensable substances) from adsorbing on the inner walls of the vacuum chamber and causing unnecessary contamination, dry nitrogen should be used instead of air for evacuating the vacuum chamber.
